Sightron SIII LR 10-50X60 FCH, Mildot & Target Dot Reticle

Available in Fine Cross Hair or Target Dot or Mil Dot, this is one of the highest mag scopes suitable for competition.

This scope was designed from the ground to fit the needs of the F class and BR shooter. With 50mins of Elevation and Windage adjustment, it covers all common distances competed with even when shooting a 308 or 223.

The optics are superb and equal or beat scopes costing a whole lot more. You can still see the mirage but the target is not as obscured as in other scopes. The side focus is very quick to use and allows you to dial in the target very precisely. The ease of use also allows you to “back off” the focus to see mirage at varied distances.

The eye objective focus has a very wide range and allows most shooters to dial in a crisp clear reticle image. Eye relief is massive.

I have been shooting this scope since April 2010 and have been very happy with its performance. Tracking has been solid and the 1/8min clicks are great for fine tuning the POI at LR. The large turrents are easy to read and easy to adjust. The covers make sure settings don’t get bumped while in storage.

A sun shield is not included but available for $55.  It is a very solid item.  The scope  does come with flip lense covers – Butler Creek #16 eye objective covers fit the eye piece well.

For the money, there is nothing that is even close

Update:  This scope help me take the best overall score at the Kamloops 500m F class match on June 6, 2010.  Placed 2nd at the Frosty Farky Sept 2010.  Used by the winning FTR shooter at the Western F class Nationals in Manitoba Aug 2010.

Price: $1,120.00
