Caldwell ROCK Pedestal Rest

This is the rest I started with and it will work great for most shooters. Very well made with a wide footprint making it very stable even with big heavy (ie 35lbs) rifles. The cradle locks up tight making for very consistent tracking.

I swapped a Protecktor bag as the Caldwell bag has more give then I want. Filled with sandblasting grit (some call it heavy sand), the bag makes for a solid set up.

I am now shooting the ROCK BR mostly because the Rock doesn’t travel high enough for my F class set up. Otherwise, it is a great rest.
