Pierce Engineering Custom Receivers
2013 and 2014 has been a very good year for the folks at Pierce Engineering with shooters using their superb custom actions taking top spots at some of America’s biggest Matches.
Mystic Precision, working with Black Art Rifle Company, are thrilled to offer all Pierce Engineering products including the very desireable TITANIUM actions.
The actions follow the Rem 700 footprint for both Short and Long action. Repeaters and Single shots versions are possible. There are 2 bolt handle styles - Tactical (top) and Standard (bottom).
The actions are set up to take all Rem 700 compatible triggers and bottom metal. They will fit in most any Rem 700 inletted stock
Bolts are 1 pc, fluted with an AR style extractor. Plunger Ejector which provides very positive ejection of the case from the action.

223 Bolt face. Of course Magnum is available too. Note the hole in the receiver for the pinned recoil lug. Custom features that would add costs to a standard Rem 700 build.
The tolerances of these actions are brought up to match standards and we have been very impressed with the quality of machining and fit. They are a bit stiff to function out of the box, but ”break in” for gliding on bearings feel.
All receivers come with a pinned recoil lug. Pierce also makes their own picantinny rail which can come Flat to as much as 40 deg cant. The rails are $145.
